In construction defects disputes.
we've usually recovered repair costs along with
legal/consultant fees. Often, this has been achieved
without costly trials. But when court battles have
been unavoidable, we've won these too.
In
addition, the Firm has successfully defended
contractors from claims of defective workmanship. We
obtained large sums of money due various contractors
for extra work orders, mechanics' liens, and stop
notices. We have successfully prosecuted claims for
delay damages on behalf of contractors. We have solved
property owners' problems with claims of lien recorded
by contractors. Ms. Rankin's firm has been placed on
the "approved list" of a number of insurance
companies, including Maryland Casualty, CNA and Cigna.
